DONATIONS AND ENDOWMENT CONTRIBUTIONS
Like any non-profit organization the Reiner Lemoine Stiftung can be given donations and endowment contributions. The donor/endowment contributor receives a receipt and can deduct his allocation from tax. The government rewards the funding of charitable foundations with wide-reaching tax benefits.
In the best case the revenue office participates in the allocation with up to 50 percent, i.e. if you donate or contribute 100 € —with the maximum tax rate—you will get 50 € in return from the revenue office.

DONATION
Donations must be used immediately, which usually means before December 31 of the following year and serve public benefit purposes.
ENDOWMENT CONTRIBUTIONS
Endowment contributions increase the assets of the Reiner Lemoine Stiftung, thus may not be expended. Interest revenues generated from the endowment however, can be used for public benefit purposes.

We thank you in advance for your generosity and ensure you that your money will be used for the efficient funding of renewable energies according to the founder’s wishes. There are further options to support the Reiner Lemoine Stiftung:
With a large donation (Großspende - minimum 5000 €)
You can choose for which of the Reiner Lemoine Stiftung projects your donation is to be used.
With a legacy donation
You may support the Reiner Lemoine Stiftung through your legacy. The advantage of this is that the assets given to the foundation will be kept in perpetuity.
With your own fiduciary foundation named after you (treuhänderische Namensstiftung - minimum 50.000 €)
You establish your own foundation which funds the Reiner Lemoine Stiftung. Your name will be kept in memory and the assets given to the foundation will be preserved.
