Since its foundation, the RLS has supported PhD students researching energy transition topics. In 2020, its scholarship programme was converted into a graduate school.
In different PhD projects, the interdisciplinary team at the RLS graduate school conducts research on issues related to the energy system transition.
The goal of the graduate school is to better understand systemic obstacles to the energy transition and to develop targeted solutions that will create the necessary conditions for an energy system with 100 % renewable energies.
